Week Six

This week we have all been presenting our speeches.  Everyone did such a great job both writing and presenting their speeches and I videoed them all so everyone will be uploading their video of their speech onto their own individual learning blogs next week.
We were lucky to have Constable Linda Graham come in this week and talk to us about her role and responsibilities in the Southland Community.  It was very interesting to hear about all the responsibilities she has.
Next week is very exciting with artist Janet De Wagt coming to school to take each class for an art session for the MLT River Project.

Week Five

This week we were busy focusing on our Inquiry, 'What roles and responsibilities people have and why they are important to me and my community?'
We were looking at the roles within our school community and some of us are busy interviewing people around the school and we also have some people coming into Team Tui to talk to us about their role and responsibilities within our school.
Mrs Tumataroa came in to our class and talked to us about her role and responsibilities at Edendale School.

Week Four

Last week we were busy finishing our Koru patterns that we started with Mr Harris.  The children presented these at Celebration Time.  They will upload a photo of them with their art on their individual learning blogs.

Our MVP was Harm Davers for demonstrating our school value of Co-operation.
