Celebration time

Here are our award winners this week at celebration time. A big well done to Lauryn who got distinction in her English Icas test,Maia who got credit and Libby who got participation. We have some very talented people in team tui!

Chocolate chip biscuits and chocolate!

Today we were lucky enough to get to make biscuits and chocolate with Mrs Lumsden.

Symmetrical shapes and patterns

Today we used the mosaic shapes to create a symmetrical flower. We made half of the flower and got the person next to us to complete it. 

We also discussed how patterns can translate and we are in the middle of creating some art. 

Celebration time

Well done to these people who got awards is week.

Keep Edendale clean

Today we went around Edendale with some workers from do terra. We went out in groups around the township to have a tidy up, we picked up rubbish that was lying around. 

After we returned from our  clean up we were treated to BBQ bill for lunch, followed by a yummy traffic light Popsicle! 

We all had a great time helping out our community!

Bruce potter

Today we were lucky enough to ever Bruce potter. Bruce is an illustrator and author of children's books.

Bruise shared with us the song of 'penny the prolific pooing cow' and shared the book of it with us. He also showed us his new book doodlebug and doodled a picture of a cow,unicorn,wizard and dragon althogether -it was amazing!

Today team tui shared their chocolate advertisements at celebration time.

These children were the lucky people this week to get the rewards this week.

Elgrgoe visit

Today Edendale school was lucky enough to head over to the rugby club to watch the magician elgregoe!

He performed a number of magic tricks and illusions.. They were pretty cool. Check out the pictures below to see so,e of his tricks.
