Swimming

We have been swimming for the last seven weeks and we have all improved our swimming skills. A big thank you to Mrs Pollard who came along to every session to help teach all the children.

Country Research

We are busy researching about another country as part of this terms inquiry. 

The children are working in pairs or individually to find all their information and they will present them in a booklet later in the week.

Mrs Roy

Today Team Tui were very lucky to have Mrs Roy come in and teach us about France. Mrs Roy teaches French at Southland Girls High School and she used to live in France when she was a child. Everyone really enjoyed learning some French words, finding out about some famous places in France and also seeing some of the food eaten in France. 

At the end Mrs Roy had an interactive quiz which we all thoroughly enjoyed!

A huge thank you  to Mrs Roy for giving up her time to come in and share her knowledge with us.
