Drama in Room 4

Today in room 4 for arts @ edendale we were doing some drama! We learnt about different drama conventions such as mime, spoken thoughts and freeze frames.

We read the legend 'The story of Rangi and Papa'. In groups of five we created a freeze frame of when Rangi and papas son's were trying to tear them apart.

Check out our great acting below!

Week 6 Term 2
It has been great getting to know the children in Team Tui over the past week. I look forward to spending the rest of the year with such a fantastic bunch of children.
Homework
This week for homework the children have basic facts, spelling words and reading.  Please remember to sign the reading log at the back of your child’s learning partnership book. The reading log does go for seven days a week. For spelling this week children are to put their spelling words into sentences so that I can see they understand what their words mean. The sentences should be neat and completed in pencil.
