Everyone is busy working together for our inquiry to meet a need they have identified in our school community. Some groups are designing a scooter area, some are designing a scooter holder and shed, some have identified the need for umbrellas for the picnic tables and others have found a need for just a rugby field. It is very exciting to see everyone working so well together to try and meet the needs they have identified.

Week Three Term Three
Wow, what a busy week we had this week. On Wednesday we were lucky enough to travel down to Menzies College and watch their production 'The Pirate Queen' in the morning. Then in the afternoon we had a Music Festival practice with all the LMV schools. We are sounding amazing, and are all excited to perform on the 29th August.
On Thursday the Year 3 children along with Room Pukeko, Kiwi and Kea, went ice skating and swimming in Gore.
Here are some swimming photos from this trip.

Week Two Term Three
What a great week of learning we have had this week. We have been busy practicing our singing for the LMV Music Festival on the 29th August.
It was great to hear all the wonderful experiences the Year 4's had on the ski trip last Friday and the Year 3's are excited about their trip this coming Thursday.
Our MVP this week was Chloe Laurie for demonstrating our school value of Honesty.

Week One Term Three
What a great start to the term we had last week.
For maths we were measuring things that were a meter long and then we measured out the length of some dinosaurs on the netball court.
We then measured body parts.
For our inquiry we went looking around the school to identify some needs that we could help with. We found a lot, but after discussing them as a class we realised some of the needs we identified were actually wants! Our next step is to refine our list and focus on the needs we can really help with and create a plan of action to achieve this.
